
The band toured Boston's club circuit . They were led by Frank Connelly their first manager. They then began to work together with Steve Leber, David Krebs, New York managers. The band's debut album, called "Eponymous" released in the year 1973. They got a recording contract in 1972. It was then followed by Get Your Wings, Toys in the Attic, Rocks, and Draw the Line, which brought Aerosmith to worldwide fame and recognition. The albums were awash with famous songs like "Dream on", "Walk This Way" and "Sweet Emotion". Aerosmith's early five albums have also all gone multi-platinum, and Toys in the Attic and Rocks are considered to be among the greatest hard rock albums ever made. But, as the decade wore on, the fast-paced life of recording, touring, living in a house, and using drugs began to take its toll on the band. Due to their famous use of heroin and stimulants, Tyler and Perry were called the Toxic Twins. Their relationship is well documented in numerous Aerosmith's videos and in the Aerosmith Behind the Music. Tyler seemed to be more dedicated to Aerosmith appeared to dislike Perry's passive manner and admired Perry's preference for females in his life. Aerosmith was in a state of decline in the 1980s due to tensions between Perry and Tyler.
