Laura Leggett Linney, born 5 February 1964 is an American actress. Laura Leggett Linney, an American actress. Born on February 5, 1964. Linney was first seen on Broadway in 1990, and was later honored with Tony Award nominations, including for The Crucible's 2002 revival The original Sight Unseen Broadway productions (2004), Time Stands Still (2009) and My Name Is Lucy Barton (2017) along with The Little Foxes' revival The Little Foxes (2017). On TV, she took home her very first Emmy Award for the television film Wild Iris (2001), as well as subsequent awards on the comedy Frasier (2003-04) as well as the mini-series John Adams (2008). From 2010 to 2013 on Showtime's The Big C. This series won her an Emmy Award in 2013. From 2017 to 2022, she was participant in the Netflix crime drama Ozark.
